Question: What made you decide on this property?

Answer: We love this property because of its proximity to all the excitement in Old Town, but in a more peaceful area to relax when out and about. We looked at so many homes for nearly 6 months and what we loved about this one was that the master bedroom/bath were an addition, so rather than just a cosmetic upgrade on a smaller space, like many of the homes we saw, this space was not only considerably larger, but more in line with the new construction that we appreciate. We are VERY picky, and we wanted to have a house in Old Town to enjoy for ourselves when we come there for our own getaways.

We also LOVE the backyard and quite honestly even the pictures don't do it justice. There is plenty of covered space for when it is hot and sunny, but also the whole yard seems to be centered around the beautiful pool and with the side yards and astroturf, it is designed for fun, sun, and games.

Question: What are the unique benefits to your guests when they book this house?

Answer: The unique benefits of the house are that we go above and beyond with our selections offered to our guests. For example, many vacation rentals provide the very basic big box store brands of soap and shampoos. We took it a step further and ordered organic high end products from a hospitality company. We also asked a local coffee company to provide our guests specialty coffees, since we appreciate that. Many vacation rentals we have stayed at provided the basic 'Folgers' or generic coffee, and we had to purchase our own. We didn't want our guests to have to do that. Also, let's talk about the towels and bedding. Everyone we talked to said 'just buy the really cheap towels and sheets from Costco- they are fine'! However, we wanted spa quality, fluffy towels and soft sheets- so we searched until we found the quality we would want. The bottom line- we outfitted this house for ourselves- the most picky and discerning travelers- so this will be a huge upgrade to our guests who are used to getting the big box type of amenities when staying in a vacation rental home.

Question: Is your pool heated?

Answer: Yes, our pool is heated for your comfort during the cooler months. There is an additional charge for pool heat and we will need 24 hour notice so that the pool can heat to the property temperature.

Question: How far is your house from the Entertainment District and how can we get there?

Answer: Very close! A little over a mile drive, ride share such as Uber or Lyft, or golf cart ride. Ride shares such as Uber or Lyft, are pretty easy to find and quick. In the heart of all the action of the Entertainment District, you can also find a golf cart for a fun ride back to the house. TIP: Negotiate on this price ahead of time.

Question: Can we book this house directly through your website?

Answer: We ask that you click the links to either Airbnb or VRBO- whichever is your preferred booking platform, but we do not book directly at this time.

Question: : My friend is getting married and we want to have her bachelorette party at your house. Do you allow this?

Answer: Your group (so long as it is 12 guests or less) is allowed to stay at our home and celebrate together, but we due to Airbnb regulations and the City of Scottsdale's as well, we do NOT allow parties in this home. Only the registered guests are allowed in the home unless prior written permission from hosts. Scottsdale also has noise regulations beginning at 10:00 pm and any fines incurred as a result of the police being called due to a complaint will be incurred upon the guests. We ask our guests to be respectful to our neighbors.

Question: Do you allow pets?

Answer: This is a pet-free home. Many of our guests have allergies and cannot stay in a home where pets have stayed prior. If you have a service dog, we ask you to please ask us to upload our 'Courteous Conduct and Cleanliness for Assistance Animals' document and accept our conditions.

Question: Do you allow smoking?

Answer: For the comfort of our guests, this is a smoke-free home. If any sign of smoking is discovered, the guest authorizes to charge guest an additional minimum $500 cleaning fee to remediate this problem for our next guest expecting a smoke-free environment. If you must smoke when staying at Suite Home Scottsdale, we ask that you smoke outside the home and remove and dispose of all cigarette butts.

Question: There are lots of other houses, why should we choose yours?

Answer: Sure, you will find plenty of other homes to stay in. But there is only 1 Suite Home Scottsdale! Once you see what we are all about, you will be spoiled for all your future vacation rentals you decide to stay in! 😊 Quite honestly- we are continually making sure our home provides you with all you need for a fabulous vacation and we would be honored to host you.
